Specifications: 2. DH-2 Type Catalyst for removal of H2 in CO2 gas in production of urea It can decrease the hydrogen in CO2 to less than 50ppm and avoid effectively the explosion accident of hydrogen-oxygen-ammonia mixed gases ensuring the safety of production urea. The catalyst has been used in the three 520000 ton/year urea production plant instead of CN-101 catalyst made in Engelhard Co. U. S. A The all performance of the DH-2 Type catalyst are equivalent to CN-101 catalyst, the activity at lower temperature and the space velocity are superior to the latter and cost of the former is much low also the technical problems of regeneration of the poisoned catalyst are solved. The catalyst can catalyze the reaction between H2 and O2 to H2O in the CO2 gas at the same time, other impurities ( e. G. CO, CH3OH, H2S etc) are also oxidized largely and decrease their concentrarions in the tail gases, The catalyst may be utilized to remove H2 from other gases.
