Specifications: Here are some advantages of such machines: A. Specific and complicated design --- It is different from traditional single screw extruders because of its unique working principle. The spiral of the screw is detached three times at the circumference and forms the so-called kneading screw. In those gaps are the stationary kneading pins, which are fixed inside the kneading casing. While the screw is circumrotating once, the axis is also moving reciprocately once. Due to such specific moments, the material is not only sheared between the pins and kneading flights, but also inverted. It improves the effectiveness of kneading by moving transversely and lengthways. Hence, it can provide high-quality dispersive and distributive mixing and the efficiency is better than twin screw extruders. In addition, the wear parts such as feeding and kneading parts of screw, liner bushes and kneading pins are designed to element-type, and can be replaced individually when one of them is broken. It saves a lot instead of changing the whole screw. Moreover, according to different kinds of polymer materials, the combination of kneading parts and feeding parts of the screw can be changed accordingly so as to make the kneading efficiency best. B. Accurate temperature controlling --- If you are an expert of Polymers you may know, the higher temperature while processing, the more will be degraded, like viscosity of PET. We can get the accurate temperature by using Pins in each section (one of the pins is hollow, we insert thermocouple). The temperature we can get is not the machine itself, but the real temperature of the polymer materials inside the machine. If the temperature is too high, the cooling system both inside the screw and barrels can help to reduce the temperature in a short time. We control the material temperature so well because they are processed when they are intenerated, not completely melted. That is why less is degraded at lower temperature. For the other machines, like traditional single screw and twin ones, the temperature controlling system only shows the temperature of the machine, not the materials inside. The accurate and reliable temperature is suitable for producing thermoset plastics and cutting-sensitive materials. C. Shorter L/D ratio D. Easy to clean and change --- The design of clam-shell barrel and element-type screw makes it easy to clean, repair, change. E.
