RB26 DETT Intake Manifold / Plenum (11/11/2006)
Along with our other range of RB intake manifolds, we have this aluminium RB26 intake manifold. Can be used with a single throttle body or the factory 6-throttle body setup. The plenum body is made from cast aluminium and has a chromed finish. The interior air volume capacity is greatly increased over stock to provide power gains at high RPM and relatively high boost levels. The manifolds can be customised with your requirements of throttle body flange, be it one of our own throttle bodies, the stock throttle body or a Q45 throttle body. The manifolds are supplied with generic vacuum fittings and a brake booster vacuum fitting. More fittings can be added for specific purposes as well as the idle control valve. It is recommended to be used in conjunction with a programmable ECU as fueling requirements will change with the increase airflow from this manifold. Common gains at high RPM and relatively high boost levels can be over 70 rear wheel horsepower. Not only a very functional piece for serious power production, but aesthetically great for a showcar engine bay.

Each runner has its own internal velocity stack to filter out turbulent airflow around the base of the intake manifold and to create high velocity flow into the runners. We supply three separate, but very similiar intake manifolds to suit the nissan series of engines RB20DET, RB25DET and RB26DETT. Each manifold is slightly different in the configuration of the intake runners. The manifolds re-uses factory runners so each manifold will fit perfectly to the required engine.The RB26DETT, however, has cast runners produced by us since the configuration of the RB26 engine is slightly different with its 6-throttle bodies. This intake manifold is suited to the toyota 2jz-gte engine, found commonly in the late model toyota supra. This intake will work fine with the standard twin-turbos, aftermarket twin-turbos or a single turbo conversion. The plenum body is made from cast aluminium and has a polished finish. The interior air volume capacity is greatly increased (approx.4.4l) over stock to provide power gains at high RPM and relatively high boost levels. Each runner has its own internal velocity stack to filter out turbulent airflow around the base of the intake manifold and to create high velocity flow into the runners. The manifolds can be customised with your requirements of throttle body flange, be it one of our own throttle bodies, the stock throttle body or a q45 throttle body. The main body and the runners are a two-piece design so can be disassembled for further porting or cleaning. This also helps to reduce the overall weight of the product making it cheaper for shipping and easier to mount. Designed to work with the stock fuel rail, but other aftermarket fuel rails can be used with modification. It is recommended to be used in conjunction with a programmable ecu as fueling requirements will change with the increase airflow from this manifold.
