ITALICA Srl is a private own Italian Company based in the Bologna area, in the years specialized in design, development and manufacture of
-high-production Blade granulating machines for plastic material sizing process, made in Italy-.
Applications of Granulators concern the automatic volume reduction of plastic items to small grains (1 cm about), by fine mechanical fragmentation process: the aim is to easily treat plastics to become suitable for recycling purposes (end-life goods re-conversion to new ones for environmental purpose and effective energy & cost-saving) and to immediately re-insert scraps and just-produced plastic goods whether they are found defective in their line process same.
The ITALICA patent concerns the design of the mill blade-rotor: some sections of it are arranged on the power-shaft, turn adjustable in helical, forward/reverse-wedge shapes by the User itself, according to parts characteristics.
It is allowed therefore to process any kind and shapes (hollow and solid) of vegetable/fruit boxes, bottles, lube tanks, bulks, water/gas transport pipes/hoses, profiles, extrusion / hot stamping feedheads, flashes, and scraps, etc., by keeping the efficiency and productivity features at the top also: 1,500-2,500 kgs/hr (for the Ciclope 800 model), 2,000-3,300 kgs/hr (for the Ciclope 1000 model) at least, depending on the kind and shape of plastics to be treated.
The biggest Ciclope 2000 model, under design process finalisation, with wide hopper’s inlet of 2,5 x 1,2 mt, allows very large workpieces, like urban solid waste collection bins/bells, without any prior size reduction activity, featured by 6-8 tons/hr of productivity.
-Optional automatic belt-conveyor may feed the granulator continuously by plastic material through the hopper inlet gate. Metal detector may prevent both failures to machine due to metal scraps/parts accidentally included into plastics and to contaminate quality.
-Optional pneumatic pipe conveyor system, completed of power motor fan and centrifugal dust separator suitable to properly fill and store the product in big bags, connected to standard outlet circular flange of the granule collecting pool.
-Optional metal separator automatically checks produced granule and quickly removes small metal pollutants (ferrous and not ferrous materials).
-Optional noise wall cabin encloses the whole granulator body, to keep reduced the process noise, in case the machine will be located in industrial building.
