Specifications: The Series SL-2 Corrosion-Scale Inhibitor, based on the film forming and scale inhibition principle, has dual-function of corrosion and scale inhibitions for the treatment of oilfield produced water. Since the main component of the product is imidazoline-containing phosphate or thiophosphate derivative that has both group of corrosion inhibiting film and group of destroying the normal crystal growth, it has noteworthy effect in inhibiting both corrosion and scale. The inhibitor has good compatibility with commonly used bactericides, oxygen scavenger, and other water-treatment agents and does not emulsify the oil-water mixture. Application in the treatment of oilfield produced water and water injection system indicts that 10-30 mg/L can reduce the average corrosion rate within to 0.025 mm/a without visible pitting. The scale inhibition efficiency is about 90%. X-19A spray also actively penetrates through heavy rust and into seams, down to the fresh metal. Oxygen, moisture, salt, Chemicals or Acids cannot reach the metal, so corrosion is stopped. Thixotropic Bonding makes it different. This is a chemical bonding, which occurs due to the unique properties of X-19A. A chemical reaction occurs, which opens the pores of the metal, thus allowing other components to seal the pores. This prevents oxidation; therefore, all rust and corrosion are halted. X-19A will not wash off with water or even a standard pressure washer. But, if required, it removes easily with mineral spirits or steam.
