The bmw nav-tv system adds a bmw video module to your current system, which allows you to watch tv right on the navigation screen. This simple and seamless oem solution fully integrates and allows you to add a television choice to your on screen menu. The kit has a tv-tuner built-in harness with a/v input for dvd/playstation source, backup camera input, a/v out for rear monitors.

The factory kit part # mkii consists of the following items:
Video module - bmw factory video module, built in tv-tuner
Wiring harness - part # vmh2 - wiring harness with audio video plugs used to connect video module to vehicle. It includes a/v input and output, and backup camera input.
- (new! ) extra feature interface cable - will allow steering wheel controls for tv channels, sound selector which allows you to choose between different audio sources. (example - listen to radio while video is displayed. ) will also allow you to have stereo dvd inputs with a purchase of an inexpensive stereo/dvd cable.
Antenna amplifiers - part # amprr - factory bmw antenna amplifiers are used to boost tv signal (optional for use with e38 - 5 series & e39- 7 series)
- manual - easy to read detailed installation instructions with many hi-res pictures
2. Video direct adapter - part #bmwv
Replaces the necessity of the bmw nav-tv classic kit (part #mkii) for the purpose of integrating video without the presence of the factory video module. For a lower cost than the classic kit the customer will have the advantage of all the features the video module is capable of besides the local channel reception.
