The glass is named based on spectral characteristic of which is represented by the wavelength transmission limit. For example, if the transmission limit of glass is 490nm,then it is named as JB490.There are five groups and 35types glasses.
Selective absorption colored optical filter glass
This part of the glasses can be divided into 14 kinds and 78 types based on the color and application in this catalogue. The types are arranged in accordance with serial numbers, which have no special meaning.
Neutral filter glass
They are named based on the average transmissivity characteristics in 400nm to 700nm wavelength with 2mmthick sampler is 70%,then it\'s named as ZAB70.And there are ten types of glasses in this part. But three types of them(ZAB65,ZAB30,ZAB5)are tested in 440nm-660nm wavelength.
Meniscus Lenses
Positive meniscus lenses is convex-concave lens thicker at the center than at the edges. They are used to minimize spherical aberration. When used in combination with another lens, it’s will shorten the focal length, and increase the NA of system.
