Ring Mount Granulator (12/15/2006)
This equipment is the main one in pressing and molding system for granule feedstuffs. It can also be used for mixing and granulating of powder materials in chemical industry. Material will be fed into conditioning and aging device through feeding helix conveyer, the function of which to pass high temperature steam into the barrel conditioning chamber and stir continuously while material enters into it. Meanwhile material will absorb water and expand, soften and gelatinize at the same time of raising material (it can also be extruded and shaped without passing through high temperature steam directly). Material that had been conditioned and aged will enter into molding chamber of granule. The molding chamber consists of ring mold and one pair of rollers at the cavity of ring mold installed at main shaft. When material enters into the space between rollers and ring mold, it will rotate together with ring mold. Then it enters into the extruding area and will be pressed into the hole of mold. The column of material will be extruded out off the hole and will be cut off by the rotation of ring mold. Finally it will become column granule with certain density, strength and length.
