D'Light Cyclone LED Screens (10/02/2006)
Specifications: D'Light Cyclone is the newest development of company D'Light intended for display of an video information on all circle of the device. Main principle of the device operation is video imaging by means of fast moving light-emitting diodes of various color (red, green and dark blue), with a speed at which the human eye perceives this moving as the image whole and coordinated on color. The cylindrical screen of D'Light Cyclone consists of the several vertically located numbers of light-emitting diodes of three primary colours (red, green and dark blue). When it rotate with the big speed and combinations of light-emitting diodes of various color join, the full-color videoimage (16,7 million colors) is created. It allows to reproduce practically any video information. In this model of the videoscreen the resolution of the image makes up to 1280x256 pixels with frequency of 50 frames per second. At such configuration the image is formed indissolubly, on all circle of installation that allows to use more full a surface of the device, the advertising areas, to lower the rented area in installation sites, in comparison with traditional light-emitting diode videoscreens. The methods applied by us for developing the D'Light Cyclone allow to create videoimages with high brightness and contrast, and also to operate these parameters during a image display. It is necessary for installation of the device either in the street, in conditions of direct solar illumination, or in premises, at artificial illumination or at absence of external illumination. Such principle of formation of the image in tens times reduces watts input and there is possible a connection of the device to a usual household network of 220-380 volt. Thus watt consumption is in the order of 1kW, that corresponds to a level of usual electrical household appliances. Reception of the image with such high characteristics and profitability becomes possible at application of the firm algorithms of digital processing of a video information developed by our company with use of microcircuits of programmed logic together with program processing of videodata on the computer.
