Properties：lt is colorless hexagonal ，odorless and tasteless crysteless crystal with relative density 2.679.It ishygroscopic. It is soluble in ether，insoluble in alcohol.The solubility in acid is greater than in water.It decomposes in alkaline solution and produces sodium fluoride and silicon dioxide.It is decomposed to sodium fluoride and silicon tetrafluoride by heating to300℃.It is toxic.
 
Usages：Fluorspar is the main primary source of fluorine and its compds.ln ferrous metallurgy it is used as a flux to increase the fluidity of the slag The steelindustry is the largest consumer；the chemicalindustry，second and ceramics，third. Synthetic fluorspar is used in the opticalindustry（transmits u .v.rays），anddehydrogenations.Used to fluoridate drinking water.
 
It is used as antiseptic in timber industry，hygroscopic angent of acid –resisting concret，ivory of glass and enamel，insecticide in pesticide industry，solidifying agent in natural latex products，additive in plating with zinc，nickel，iron and filler in plastic and fluorinating agent in phalmaceuticals and drinking water.lt is used to produce sodium fluoride in man-made cryolite.

CaF2 And BaF2 Optical Lens CaF2 And BaF2 Optical Lens
Specifications: Calcium Fluoride is used for optical windows, lenses and prisms in the 0.15mkm - 9 mkm range. This material has found wide use in high power laser optics due to its low absorption. Polished surfaces are stable and will last several years under normal conditions. Due to its low refractive index, Calcium Fluoride can be used without anti-reflection coating. Maximum available size:320 mm Dia x 60 mm Thk. ----------------------------------------- Barium Fluoride is used for optical windows, lenses and prisms particularly when transmission into the ultraviolet is desired. The transmission range is 0.2 mkm - 11 mkm. Transmission in the VUV is degraded by prolonged exposure to moist atmosphere, but it is not significantly degraded under high energy irradiation. Barium fluoride is less resistant to attack by water than Calcium Fluoride. Pronounced water attack occurs at 500C, but the material can be used to 800C in a dry environment. Barium fluoride is the most resistant fluoride to high energy radiation, but does not have VUV transmission of the other fluorides. The material is relatively hard but is highly sensitive to thermal shock. Maximum available size:180 mm Dia x 40 mm Thk.Supply Ability: 100-500pcs/month
