Bucket Elevator Application Bucket Elevator is used to vertically lift broken block and granular materials such as limestone, coal, plaster, clinker aggregate, dry clay and so on and powdery material such as raw meal, cement, coal dust and so on. Bucket Elevator types According to the difference of running speed, Bucket Elevator can de divided into three types: Centrifugal discharging, gravitational discharging and hybrid discharging. Bucket speed of the first type is very quick and it is suitable for conveying powdery, granular and small block materials with small abrasiveness.; Bucket speed of the second type is very slow, and it is suitable for conveying block materials with large ratio and serious abrasiveness such as limestone and clinker aggregate and so on. Bucket Elevator structure and features Driving component of Bucket Elevator contains loop chain, plate link chain and belt and so on. Structure and manufacturing of loop chain is very simple, connection with bucket is also very fixed. When conveying serious abrasiveness, wear of chain is small but its dead weight is large. Structure of plate link chain is very fixed, dead weight is light and it is suitable for lifting elevator with large quantity, but adjustable fitting is easy to wear. Structure of belt is very simple, but it is not suitable for conveying material with serious abrasiveness. Material temperature of common belt is not more than 60 Celsius degree, allowable material temperature of clipping wire rope belt reaches to 80 Celsius degree, allowable material temperature of heat-resistant belt reaches to 120 Celsius degree, temperature of loop chain and plate link chain conveying material reaches to 250 Celsius degree.
