Specifications: Canon EOS 10D Digital SLR Camera I'm sure you've read many positive reviews of the Canon 10D camera by now if you are looking to purchase one. Let me give you my own review of this camera. I bought this 10D last year and have taken many GREAT pictures with it. If you are tired of the small point and shoot digital cameras with the shutter lag time problem while trying to capture photos of your kids in sports, you will LOVE this camera. I have kids that play baseball and basketball. Two sports with very different lighting conditions. This camera handles both sports very well. My first camera was a Canon EOS Elan film camera. It too worked well for sports, however when digital cameras became the mainstream, I bought a point and shoot model. A fairly expensive one that I thought would give me what I needed. It didn't and neither did any other point and shoot camera. Then the Canon 10D Digital SLR came out. It was out for a while before I bought one, but boy was I glad I did. It had all of the great features of the Elan that I had plus a lot more. Instant gratification with the ability to raise up the camera and press the shutter release at the EXACT moment that I wanted to take the picture. With the ability to change ISO settings in a moments notice, unlike changing rolls of film in the middle of a roll, gave me the ability to go from an outdoor sport to an indoor sport very quickly and easily. The 10D will give you very clean photos at vey high ISO settings, so poor lighting is no where near the problem it is for film cameras and point and shoot digitals. I bought the 10D because of the great reviews and because of the lenses I had from using the Elan. This camera has a very nice solid feel to it. Not plasticy like some other digital SLR's. You can get great results with the autosettings or shoot entirely in manual mode. Very easy to change without going into a bunch of menus. I've since been able to make a good profit from selling pictures that I take at sporting events to the families of the kids that I take pictures of. They have all been very impressed how well the pictures turn out. I've been able to make enough to make a move to one of Canon's higher end digital SLR's. If you have any questions about this camera, please let me know. I have always been VERY particular about keeping the camera as new looking as possible. As you can tell by the attached photos, this camera looks brand new. I didn't want to take up all of the space here by giving you tons of specs. I instead wanted to tell you what a GREAT camera this is. Again, I'm sure you've read about the specs all over the place.
